Under our affiliate partner agreements, we are granted a limited license to display product images for the purpose of directing users to the merchant's site. We do not claim ownership of product images โ€” all rights remain with their respective owners.

Your takedown notice must include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  2. Identification of the material to be removed (URL(s) of the image(s) or page(s)).
  3. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notice (17 U.S.C. ยง 512(g))

If your content was removed and you believe it was in error, you may file a counter-notice. We will forward it to the original complaining party, who has 10-14 business days to file a court action. If no action is filed, we will restore the material.

India

Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Acknowledgement within 36 hours, action within 7 business days. Jurisdiction: New Delhi.

Japan

Provider Liability Limitation Act (2001). Action within 7 business days. Jurisdiction: Tokyo District Court.

Brazil

Marco Civil da Internet (Law 12.965/2014), Article 19. We voluntarily process takedowns without requiring a court order. Jurisdiction: Sรฃo Paulo.

UAE

Federal Law No. 7 of 2002 on Copyrights + Electronic Commerce Regulations (Cabinet Decision No. 27 of 2021). Jurisdiction: Dubai.

Canada + Australia

Canada: Copyright Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42) notice-and-notice regime. Australia: Copyright Act 1968. We act voluntarily within 7 business days.

Repeat infringer policy

A "repeat infringer" is a brand or source whose content has been subject to โ‰ฅ3 valid takedown notices within 12 months. For repeat infringers: all images from that source are proactively removed, the source is excluded from future content generation, and the source is notified with an opportunity to cure by providing a valid license.

For trademark, trade dress, or other non-copyright claims, email dmca@cartiq.net with: the specific mark, the URL(s), your relationship to the rights holder, a good faith statement, and contact information. We respond within 7 business days.
